Vogue Uk’s February 2011 cover has hit the stands and I really like it. It features Mrs Beckham looking lovely and was photographed by Alasdair McLellan. I am not usually a huge fan of Victoria Beckham covers. Don’t get me wrong I think of all the celebri-spawn turned fashion designers she has actually proved herself. But she always looks so… so… angry.
This time however, she has thrown out her usual hard edge - frown riddled face for a happy(ish) look. I think the cover looks so wonderfully soft, natural and warm with just the right amount of 90s charm (a prominent style being used in covers and editorials at the moment).
The shoot itself seems to continue this soft charm, although I have only seen a tiny snippet it of it. When I get my hands on it in full I will post it for you to enjoy.
I think her eyes look softer in this photo, like she's been caught off guard (but probably not.)
ReplyDeleteI know she comes off as a witchy cow, and maybe she is one, but i reckon she's a good Mum and person intrinsically and should have a daughter this time round.
